Our annual LIVE! and Local event celebrates local and Michigan food artisans. This will be the 3rd year we’ve held this event and each year it grows . . . we will have over 20 food artisans showcasing their products. Come TASTE their handcrafted products and meet the faces behind some of Michigan’s finest foods. We’ll be roasting a local pig on Thursday and making farm fresh pork sandwiches on Friday, $5.99!! We’ll also be grilling Michigan peaches wrapped with Creswick Farms bacon and drizzling with local maple syrup, $3.99. There will be a Farmer’s Market in the lot and we guarantee - loads of fun!

Join us in Ada as we co-host this fabulous dinner with our good friends at The Daily Grill celebrating the best Michigan has to offer! The six course dinner will feature some of the best foods grown in (and around) town, as well as other special Michigan products. Courses will be paired with Michigan wines. Tickets are $65 and proceeds will support Local First. For reservations call The Daily Grill at 676-1233. The menu:
Amuse-Bouche (something fresh and local from the chef - a surprise!)
Roasted Baby Carrots and Baby Beets with Dancing Goat Chevre, Tiny Greens and Toasted Chestnuts (Dancing Goat cheeses and Winkel Farms Chestnuts available at Grand River Grocery).
Northern Michigan Whitefish En Papiote with Lemon Thyme Buerre Blanc
Winter Squash, Smoked Bacon, Wild Rice, Charred Sweet Corn, with Cranberry Gastrique
Hardwood Smoked Duck Breast with Roasted Baby Squash, Parsnip Puree, Tart Cherry with Port Reduction and Baby Arugula (Grand River Grocery has duck breast)
