MITTENBRAU LOTS OF FUN!

It was a feast for the eyes and senses! An all you could eat buffet dinner and all you could drink Michigan craft brews from Founders, Bells, Arcadia, Dark Horse and New Holland for a mere $40!! And not just any old "buffet" - a buffet done "Green Well style"! Roasted pig, goat (everyone raved about the goat), brisket, jerk chicken, grilled vegetables, fresh salads . . . the list could go on! And of course . . . chocolate dessert and truffles from Grand River Grocery! Chocolate actually pairs nicely with many beer styles and we poured Founders Raspberry Rubaeus Ale with Victorian Bakery's Chocolate Oblivion Cake and it was fabulous. We've got both at Grand River Grocery!

ROWSTER COFFEE TASTING

This Thursday, Kurt from Rowster Coffee (locally roasted) will be at the market conducting a coffee sampling of his coffee's. His beans are sourced from Rwanda and the women that grow them are "coffee widows", having lost their husbands to genocide in that country. By purchasing Rwandan beans from Kurt, we support these women who are learning to become self sufficient and manage their bean growning business. Stop in Thursday noon to 4 and have a cup of Rowster Coffee and hear this interesting story from Kurt.
