Ada Village Shop Hop, Thursday evening, December 4 beginning at 5:00 PM.

Join us in the Village of Ada as the retail merchants partner up with Ada Historical Society and The Community Church of Ada to help usher in the holiday season with a festive evening of fun for the family. Some of the highlights - ride the trolley through town, decorate a cookie at Thornapple Daily Grill, an ornament at The Mudroom, or have the kids enjoy a holiday book reading at Churchkey Books. The Community Church of Ada will present “The Star of Bethlehem” - a traveling planetarium show. At Grand River Grocery we’ll be sampling our holiday goodies, helping you with your holiday purchases, taking orders for your holiday gift baskets, singing carols and enjoying s’mores on our patio with a crackling bonfire!

PARADE BRIGADE TO MARCH

Saturday, December 6 11:00 AM

Our Grand River Grocery Parade Brigade will be "rockin" the chicken dance on Saturday at 11:00 AM for the annual Ada Village Santa Parade. Chef Wes will be under the tent in the Grand River Grocery parking lot serving breakfast sandwiches, hotdogs and sliders off the grill. Hot cocoa, Starbucks coffee, water and orange juice will also be available. We'll be firing up the grill at 8:00 AM so get there early to get a seat for the parade.

We're in the process of lining up final details for a very special, very unique evening at Bistro Bella Vita that will bring us together with Schuler Books, our local chapter of Slow Food, and Steve Rinella, author of "The Scavenger's Guide to Haute Cuisine".
