Trick-Or-Tini Martini

1oz Tia Maria
2 ½ oz Vanilla Vodka
¼ oz Sambuca

Combine all ingredients over ice in a shaker. Shake to desired temperature. Garnish with espresso beans and serve ‘up’ in a martini glass. NOTE: This cocktail is a favorite of the visiting Zumba Witches (pictured here with their other beverage favorite - Starbucks!)

The Voodoo Vator pours a semi transparent brown color with ruby red highlights and a small off white head. Sweet and nutty roasted grains in the nose. Smokey and sweet to the tongue, lots of woody/earthy tones and chocolate malt, cherry and baked banana flavors. No hop character or spice to speak of, no booze either. Medium bodied.

Named after the notorious German vampire from the 1920s film era. Rich and chewy, with burnt caramel, light toffee, and a suggestion of roasted nuts. Relentless hop bitterness, background citrus and warming alcohol notes cut through the beer's thickness and provide balance from beginning to end. A hearty beer for an equally hearty snack or meal. Indeed, it could be a meal in itself. Just be respectful of the beer's strength. The notorious vampire on the beer's label is fair warning.
