Jorge Ordonez is credited with working to revive the Spanish wine market from its lull in the '70's and '80's. Starting in the late 1980's, he saw the potential of many untendended vineyards throughout Spain and encouraged winemakers to renew their efforts to make quality wine, and he in turn, would make sure they were represented in the American market. Today, Spain is where you will find the hottest values around. Just look for the Jorge Ordonez logo on the back of the bottle and you will feel confident that you have a great wine at a great price.
