Myself and my Grand River Grocery crew are pleased and proud to be a part of this "first ever" fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  It is almost impossible today to not know someone or some family that is affected by diabetes.  It is a major health risk in the United States.  One that affects young and old alike.  More than 80 percent of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education.  This grilling kick off is our way of helping raise awareness and make a contribution.  All proceeds from beer sales and 10% of our retail sales for the day will be donated to JDRF.  We hope you'll come out have lunch or dinner, tip a Magic Hat brew and support a worthwhile cause.
