CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PROMOTION!

We've been undergoing a few (just a few - wink wink) changes at Grand River Grocery and it's ALL GOOD!  Our new "team" is in place and ready to be of service - catering, gift baskets, wine questions, cheeseboards, box lunches, dinners, office lunches, bar service, event coordination . . . you name it and we can most likely help . . . and if we can't . . . we certainly know someone who can!  So . . . meet the Grand River Grocery leadership team (from left to right):

  • Sarah Winslow:  Coffee Master and ready to make your morning latte or cappucino!  Starbucks wizard.
  • Elizabeth Camp:  Not only does she handle all our bookkeeping and office functions but she assembles the MOST GORGEOUS gift baskets . . . EVER.  She has a loyal following of happy happy customers!  We think numbers and art are a very good combination.
  • Caitlin Hettinga:  A wine chick who loves to cook and entertain.  Caitlin is handling our "front end" - specialty food, wine and beer.  She's also a bit of a "mixologist"!  When we gather she's the one mixing our drinks!
  • Craig Oland:  New to our team, Craig is our "Chief Culinary Artist" and while you might not see him a lot on our sales floor, he's in our kitchen "mixing it up"!!  Catering, cafe, bakery, kitchen - they're all important and we're excited to have him join our team.  He's a really nice guy too.
  • Sarah Andro:  Our "head honcho" (something like a general manager) she's a "Jack of All".  Our former wine chick who headed up our beverage catering business is now overseeing all Grand River Grocery venues - market, catering, kitchen.
  • Courtney Cheers:  Our "Big Cheese", Courtney is not only our cheese monger, but now oversees all our fresh product at the market, and works closely with Caitlin.  She's sourcing great local, Michigan and regional cheese and working with local produce purveyors. 
  • Meghan Howard:  Not pictured and too new for this photo (she starts in August) will be overseeing all our catering and corporate gift business. 

Congratulations and welcome!  Jeff and I look forward to working with all of you in your new roles . . . we're quite proud of the team we've assembled.
