Ristorante DaEdoardo was established in 1977 in Gross Pointe, Michigan.  At a recent food show we had the opportunity to taste their new pasta sauce available for retail sale and we were blown away with the Vodka Cream Sauce.  An old family recipe by, you guessed it - Grandpa Edoardo Barbieri which he brought with him to America after World War II.  The restaurant he opened serves dishes infused with the tradition and taste of the old country.  This creamy blush tomato sauce with vodka is perfect tossed with your favorite pasta and topped with grated Parmigiano Reggiano and chopped parsley.  A quick easy week night meal during this busy time of year.
