Rosé for Spring

Spring means Rosés are on our minds. Rosé is the perfect wine with food in warmer weather because it can have all the depth and complexity of a red wine, but with the refreshing chill of a white. Right now, we have several great selections perfect for pairing with your Spring menus.
 

A couple favorites:

'09 Domaine Mireille & Vincent Cotes de Rhone Rosé--don't let the fact that this is last years vintage fool you. This one of my favorite Rosés with incredible richness and still very fresh; being last years vintage just means that it is a great deal!  $8.99/btl.

'10 Andrieux & Fils Cotes de Provence Cuvee Victoria--Strawberry and red raspberry fruit flavors, delicate and balanced. Great with fish and salads. $14.99/btl.

SAVE THE DATE

The 2nd annual BBQ, Brews and a Bike Ride is almost here! Friday, May 20th will be a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We will be grilling in our parking lot all day -- noon to 7pm, under fabulous tents provided by Cascade Rental, there will be refreshing cocktails and summer beers avalaible from New Holland Brewing Company, and evening entertainment provided by local band, Four for Smoking.

This is an incredible cause, and nobody throws a party like Grand River Grocery, so mark your calendars today!
