LANGE TWINS WINES AT GRAND RIVER GROCERY!
Tina and I had the pleasure of meeting with Randall and Charlene on their recent trip to Michigan. They brought along their LangeTwins staples along with a few limited production treats. Jim (my wine rep) was excited for me to check out these wines because in addition to being super yummy their company philosophy is right in line with ours at Grand River Grocery. A small, family run (since the 1870’s) organization taking great strides towards “sustainable winemaking.”
“Unlike other farming practices, sustainable winegrowing is all encompassing in its approach, with concern for all surrounding environments, not just with the winegrapes that are grown. It is the balance of environmental health, economic profitability, and social equity. From vineyard management to sales, we have a commitment to improve our environmental practices. Ultimately, each element plays a vital role in the integrity and quality of our wine.”
