CIRCA ESTATE WINERY

Our second stop on the Leelanau Pennisula was the European inspired and beautifully opulent winery - Circa Estate Winery.  Grand River Grocery was the first downstate retail outlet for these amazing wines and we showcased them at our annual LIVE! and Local event in September.  Proprietors David and Margaret Bell have a shared passion for the land that grows their award winning wines.  From the vineyard to the wine, to their exquisite tasting room, the Bells take great pride and passion in cultivating an "authentic" experience.  We love their wines and would encourage you, when visiting the Leelanau Pennisula, to make sure Circa is on your tour list.

THE WINES OF CIRCA

Grand River Grocery has the following wines from Circa:

REQUISITE:  100% Lemburger grape, this red wine is fruit forward, well balanced with nice acidity and very food friendly.  A nice wine to pair with summer grillfare.  $23.99

CHARDONNAY:  Fresh and fruity, this award winning wine sees no oak and is full of flavor.  $18.49

IMPROVISATION:  A proprietary blend that is barely sweet, and a market favorite - especially on a hot summer night, well chilled.  $14.49

GET YOUR GRILL ON!

Wood chip cooking has become an art among seasoned outdoor chefs to perfectly infuse that unmistakable, deliciously rich flavor into grilled meats and vegetables.
